This certification confirms that we meet standards for environmental care, fish welfare, food safety, and social responsibility. It also ensures full traceability throughout our operations.
Why BAP certification matters
BAP is an aquaculture specific certification standard developed by the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA). This standard has become dominant in the tilapia industry since it covers the whole production chain from hatcheries to processing plants and is preferred by the key export markets. Independent bodies conduct audits to verify compliance with BAP standards through site inspections, sampling, and record reviews. The NSF Certification, LLC audited and certified GenoMar Genetics Asia, Malaysia.
